The many hazards of grocery shopping

An elderly Vietnamese man was hit by a motorbike in Kandal’s Muk Kampoul district resulting in a broken left leg.

Police said the man, 73, was crossing the road after buying groceries when a youth on a motorbike collided with him.

Police suspect the elderly man had gone unseen.

The motorist was slightly injured and taken into police custody while the septuagenarian was hospitalised by his relatives.
