Masked youths prove child’s play for police

Police were called to a Meanchey district primary school on Wednesday after pupils’ screams alerted teachers to four miniature masked thugs roaming the playground.

The veiled villains, aged between 12 and 13, were threatening youngsters at the school.

They told police they came from disadvantaged families and that this was not their first masked-raid of a school.

The police asked them to sign a pledge not to repeat the behaviour and let them go, but not before confiscating their masks.
