From meal to melee in Phnom Penh eatery

A restaurant in the capital’s Tuol Kork district became an arena for a mass melee of over 20 drunken men on Monday night.

Police said that a group of 10 20-somethings was drinking beer at the restaurant when another group of over 10 people arrived.

Half an hour later, an argument between the two sides escalated into a huge fight.

The brawlers used glasses and chairs, badly injuring each other. All fled before the police arrived.
