Mechanic gets tangled in 20-way sword fight

A 25-year-old Vietnamese mechanic got sliced up after foolishly walking in between two fighting gangs on a Chamkarmon district bridge yesterday.

Witnesses say two groups of about 20 people were fighting with swords on the Tonle Bassac commune sky bridge when the mechanic tried to get through.

No one knew who attacked him, but the victim’s face was covered with blood by the time he emerged from the battlefield.
