Military police in Poipet town caught up with a pair of men, aged 34 and 23, on Saturday who had been launching night raids on a garment factory to steal electrical wire. The latest theft occurred on Saturday, leading the factory owner to call in authorities. Based on clues given by the owner, officers tracked down the pair, who said they’d stolen the wire for resale as they were out of work and struggling to make ends meet.
