A gang of drug dealers in Battambang’s Mong Russey district were arrested on Saturday after they were allegedly caught pushing the potent amphetamine yama.
Police said they were tipped off about the sellers’ activities by local residents.
Police arrested four suspects, aged 19 to 23, on suspicion of drug dealing after a failed escape attempt.
Eight packages of yama were found on their persons. Cops confiscated three motorbikes and five mobile phones.
Allegedly operating in the area for months, police are investigating a possible syndicate.
