Mob dishes out beating for wallet-stealing thief

A thief received his due from a cooperative crowd yesterday morning after attempting to steal a wallet that a woman had left on her a motorbike while shopping in the capital.

Three men pulled up on a motorbike, with one dismounting to make the grab while his two accomplices waited nearby.

However, the victim’s husband caught sight of the would-be wallet-snatcher and shouted for help.

The suspect was immediately surrounded by bystanders all too happy to dish out a beating before handing him to police.
