A jumpy thief was put under citizen’s arrest after allegedly stealing a man’s iPhone in Pursat town on Thursday.

According to the police, the victim was speaking on his phone in a secluded spot on his way home when two men approached him, brandishing a knife.

They stabbed him once – though the man was not seriously hurt – but were prevented from escaping when a mob formed after the man called for help.

Panicking, the men ditched the knife, and tried to get away, but only one was successful. DEUM AMPIL
