Mob to thank for airport thief’s failure to take off

A would-be thief found himself on the receiving end of a fresh beating rather than a new motorbike thanks to crowd justice.

The aspiring robber attempted to steal a motorbike at Phnom Penh International Airport, before being chased off by the owner.

He didn’t make it far though, as passive bystanders quickly become active participants. The man was beaten and held until local police arrived to transport him to the station.
