We all have that stingy friend who constantly borrows money and never pays it back. For most, however, the matter usually concerns a few dollars and resolves itself before police get involved.

Not so for one Kratie man, 47, who was arrested on Saturday after his mate finally filed a complaint over a $5,000 loan he had never paid back.

After almost a year of trying unsuccessfully to get his buddy to cough up, the man had finally decided the friendship wasn’t worth the sum and filed a complaint with the cops. Deum Ampil
