Money was behind sale of woman’s heifer

A female farmer in Kandal’s Sa’ang district was arrested on Saturday for trying to milk a little extra profit from the sale of a cow.

Police said the farmer had agreed to look after a cow belonging to another woman, who, in return, had promised to share the profits with her when the cow produced a bull.

When the bull was born, however, the farmer allegedly sold both animals herself. When the owner found out, she notified police, who arrested the farmer. NOKORWAT
