Moto driver hospitalised after sugarcane crash

A sticky situation in Svay Rieng province led a moto rider to the emergency room on Sunday after he smashed headfirst into a sugarcane vendor’s stall, injuring the juicemaker and a bystander in the process.

The driver was whisked to hospital while the vendor and her customer were left to lick their wounds. The bike and vendor’s stall were impounded by the police until a settlement could be arrived at.
