A rough month got a lot worse for a garment worker in Por Sen Chey district on Wednesday after she was robbed while on her way to borrow money.

Police said the young woman had run out of cash before payday and was en route to a friend’s to borrow money for food when two gunmen pulled alongside and demanded her bike.

Her shouts for aid got no response as passersby could clearly see the gun. She’s now filed a complaint with police.
