A moto loaned is a moto owned – by someone else

A quick-thinking fibber got caught in a lie after trying to defraud his friend of a motorcycle.

A 24-year-old Vietnamese man in Kandal asked to borrow his friend’s moto so he could get medicine for an illness.

The borrowed bike was never returned, with the con artist claiming it was damaged in an accident.

The sceptical friend wanted more proof than a story and cornered the suspect, who admitted that he had sold the bike for $180. Koh Santepheap
