Moto rider in jail after slamming into woman

A motorbike rider landed himself in police custody and a pedestrian in hospital after allegedly slamming into the woman in Kandal province’s Muk Kampoul district on Sunday.

According to eyewitnesses, the woman, 45, was crossing the road when the speeding rider collided with her.

The victim was badly injured and sent for medical treatment, while the rider, 21, was taken to the local police station.
