Moto thief literally brings knife to gunfight, is shot

Police shot an alleged thief in the leg early on Sunday after he fled the scene of a motorbike robbery in Svay Rieng province and later tried to stab police who tried to apprehend him.

The 40-year-old stole the moto from a farmer at knifepoint before escaping the scene. Police chased him down, with the man ditching the bike to run on foot before wielding his knife when officers caught up with him.

He was shot once in the leg and was hospitalised. Nokorwat
