A Pursat moto thief’s problems quickly compounded on Saturday after his capture. Police said the 22-year-old had stolen a moto after the owner left it unattended near a river where she had gone to wash her clothes.
The victim’s shouts alerted nearby police, who were then led on a 20-minute chase. After getting their man, they found not only a knife in his possession but several hundred counterfeit dollars.
He claimed he had just returned from an unsuccessful job hunt in Thailand. nokorwat
