Moto thief roughed up before handed to cops

In another classic case of mob justice, a 39-year-old motorbike thief was beaten by residents in the capital’s Chamkarmom district after he attempted to jack a motorbike on Wednesday.

Police said the victim parked his bike outside of a pharmacy when the robber appeared.

The apothecary saw what was happening and began yelling for assistance.

Neighbourhood residents came over and got physical with the perp before hauling him into the police office.
