Moto thievery proves too hard for thickheaded duo

Two men in the capital’s Teuk Thla commune on Sunday weren’t so much “thick as thieves” as they were plain stupid when they attempted to remove – in broad daylight and in full view of the public – the plate of a motorbike they had just stolen.

Canny cops on patrol quickly spotted the suspicious behaviour and grilled the crooks, who eventually confessed to their crime. The police booked the two men, while the motorbike has been returned to its rightful owner.
