A 22-year-old woman in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district learned patience is a risky virtue on Monday.

While waiting on her moto in front of her boyfriend’s house, the victim was approached by two thugs on wheels.

The men threatened her with a gun, and the woman screamed for the neighbours.

The suspects fired a shot into the woman’s shoulder and raced away on her bike. The woman is in hospital and the suspects are still riding free. Deum Apil
