A 55-year-old motodop was arrested on Sunday in Kandal’s Koh Thom district for hitting a border officer. Police said the man was attempting to sneak a Vietnamese national into Cambodia when officers stopped him to check his documents.

Having no legal entry papers, the motodop allegedly tried to negotiate with officers to no avail. The suspect then attacked an officer with his shoe and fists, and was brought in for questioning. RASMEI KAMPUCHEA
