A brutish boyfriend went green with envy before allegedly leaving his girlfriend black and blue outside a Phnom Penh bar on Monday.

Police said the couple had gone to a bar where the pugilistic punk saw another man who was prone to calling his girlfriend.

Rather than attack his romantic rival, the suspect quietly left the bar with his girlfriend, only to start punching and kicking her the moment they were outside.
