Motodop’s theft drives neighbours to attack

The enticing allure of an unguarded iPhone saw a good motodop go bad – and get badly beaten – in Sihanoukville on Saturday.

Police said the suspect was parked on the street, when a nearby resident went behind his house, leaving his smartphone unattended in his front room.

The motodop allegedly darted in to snatch the phone, but was spotted by the homeowner.

Neighbours came to the rescue, dishing out a little street justice before handing him to police.
