Motorbike plate hoarder not the smartest thief

Was it arrogance or stupidity that caused a moto thief to display a stolen licence plate as he burned around town? Whichever the case, such behaviour led to police arresting one man and his friend in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district on Tuesday.

After complaints of stolen motorbikes, police began scouring an area of the district.

When they noticed one of the plates, they raided a rental home. As well as finding a gun, officers also found multiple plates from stolen bikes. DEUM AMPIL
