Motorist careens into a bridge, too drunk to flee

A young speedster had his driving ambitions – and his tyres – deflated on Sunday evening after learning that when a car encounters a bridge, the car usually comes off worse.

Police said the man was drunk and speeding when he collided with the Stung Meanchey bridge barricades, puncturing his tyres.

The drunk did not try to escape, and was escorted to the local police station when police arrived at the scene to impound his mangled motor.
