Mugger busted after short-lived score

A leisurely stroll around Wat Phnom, listening to some relaxing tunes through earbuds, almost turned disastrous for a tourist in the capital on Monday.

The woman, from South Korea, was one minute listening to her favourite songs, the next being confronted by a robber who wanted her phone.

Fortunately for the woman, police were on the scene and gave chase, eventually arresting the man, 22. All ended well for the tourist who escaped injury and, once having gotten her phone back, returned to sightseeing. KOH SANTEPHEAP
