Mugger served justice but loot eludes cops

A man in Phnom Penh’s Chroy Changvar district was mugged by two moto-mounted goons with a gun on Sunday, losing his phone in the process.

The man was strolling the streets with a friend when the pair pulled up, pointing a gun at him as he chatted on his phone.

The pair sped off, but police gave chase. They managed to arrest one of them but, unfortunately for their victim, it was not the mugger who was in possession of the stolen phone.
