Mugging victim gets swift justice in capital

An unlucky youth in the capital’s Russey Keo district fell victim to knife-wielding goons yesterday, but a chance encounter with capital cops resulted in one miscreant’s arrest.

As the 18-year-old drove his moto to visit a relative, the dastardly duo blocked his path and demanded his phone and money. He relinquished them, and his foes fled.

The youth’s cries for assistance were answered by a passing police patrol, who arrested one of the muggers and returned the youngster’s cash.
