In a neighbourly gesture that went above and beyond lending a cup of sugar, a Kratie town man grappled with an alleged thief that had robbed his neighbour’s home on Friday.

According to the victim, the suspect had ducked into his house while he stepped out for air, and made off with $300 hidden in a sofa.

Recognising the man, the victim called out for his neighbour, who obliged by chasing down and fighting the suspect until police arrived. Deum Ampil
