Neighbourhood card game fresh out of luck

A couple running a gambling den out of their Kampong Cham home didn’t wager they would be spending a few nights in jail after police discovered their tricks.

The pair hosted 10-12 card-playing villagers a night, soliciting a sum for the game addicts to play.

Neighbours complained about the illegal activity, and the couple’s luck ran out when police arrived on Monday night. KOH SANTEPHEAP
