Neighbours nab gun owner at bullet speed

Neighbours of a man in Mondulkiri were, as you might expect, alarmed when they saw him wandering round his yard with a shotgun this week.

Police said the neighbours – who said they had “never dared” to speak with the man before – immediately filed a complaint.

Officers obtained a warrant to search the man’s house and discovered that he did not have legal permission to own the gun. He admitted wrongdoing, handed over his weapon and entered police custody peacefully. KOH SANTEPHEAP
