Concerned neighbors in Siem Reap’s Varin district helped arrest a drunken lout who attacked his wife with a knife on Sunday.

According to police, the intoxicated 48-year-old couldn’t take his wife’s criticism that he was drinking too much and, in response, grabbed a knife and attacked her.

Luckily, the villagers next door witnessed the ordeal and subdued the man until police arrived. The wife was sent to the hospital while the man was sent to court.
