Neighbours see to closing of an illegal bet shop

“Open every day” must have been the slogan for an informal Banteay Meanchey province casino shut down by police on Saturday. It was the neighbours who dropped the dime to cops, mentioning the house in Poipet town hosted betting on a daily basis.

After descending on the place, cops arrested two men and four women aged 27 to 60. Everyone was hauled to the station and made to sign a promise to play games for fun and keep money out of the equation in the future.
