New drinking buddies like battle, not banter

An afternoon drink up involving two butchers, ages 20 and 30, in Kandal’s Mok Kampoul district failed to meat a good end after the pair slaughtered pleasant conversation.

A famer, 53, was drinking beer with three friends when he invited the passing suspects to join.

The drunk men started arguing, but the farmer’s attempts to pacify his guests were halted when the butchers beat him in the head and face.

The farmer was sent to hospital, and police took the suspects to court. Nokorwat
