A pair of would-be moto thieves struck out on Saturday after what appeared to be easy pickings blew up on their faces.

Police said the duo believed the bike’s owner was busy drinking beers inside his house when they made their move, but the man was vigilant and, shortly thereafter, a vigilante, pursuing the men along with some relatives, until they had them cornered.
