Newbie ruffles feathers, gets roughed up in turn

A new motodop on the Kampong Cham town scene showed admirable ambition, if a lack of common sense, this weekend.

Thanks to police intervention, he narrowly escaped a beating on Friday after loudly vying for passengers with a trio of longtime motodops.

One night later, he was back, scoring a passenger at the locals’ expense again – this time with no cops in sight.

Harsh words were followed by sticks and stones, and he is now in hospital while police look for his attackers. NOKORWAT
