Next time he’ll look a little harder in the lot

A filed and forgotten police report nearly landed a man in cuffs on Tuesday.

According to capital police, the man was pulled over and fined for driving without a helmet. Moments later, however, a stolen moto report came in from Kandal listing the licence number of the man who had just been stopped.

They quickly caught the man, who embarrassingly explained that it was his moto, but had been reported stolen after he lost it in a market parking area.
