’Night-blind’ motorist cops blame for smash

A young woman careened into the central barrier on Phnom Penh’s Sihanouk Boulevard on Sunday morning.

Nobody was injured in the crash, although the car’s tires blew out.

When police arrived on the scene, the driver claimed mitigating circumstances, saying the road was dark and the barrier was unmarked.

The cops didn’t buy it though, sending her to the station and impounding her car.
