Nine-person drug ring busted in two fell swoops

A probe into an alleged Battambang town drug ring led to a whopping nine arrests on Wednesday in Cambodia’s second-largest city.

Police said the arrests, which took place in two batches that day, were accompanied by the seizure of seven packs of meth, two motos, seven mobile phones and assorted drug paraphernalia.

The nine, all in their 20s, allegedly confessed and have been sent to court. DEUM AMPIL
