Nine alleged gamblers paid the price for their stubbornness in Siem Reap town yesterday.
Police said villagers had a habit of gathering at a residence to gamble, despite multiple warnings from police, who were sick of all the local disputes stemming from gambling.
Fed up, the cops secured a warrant from the court and raided the home, prompting punters to scatter like roaches.
Nine, however, couldn’t quite get away, and were hauled down to the station.
