Cops in Kampot town nipped a nascent crime in the bud yesterday night when they nabbed three men who were hanging around a park after dark.

Suspecting a drug deal was in the offing, police approached the threesome, who made a run for it but weren’t quick enough for the local plods who detained them and found two packages of illegal substances.

The suspects admitted that they had been trying to sell and were sent to court.
