An hours-long standoff ended as anti-climactically as it began in Phnom Penh’s Por Sen Chey district on Sunday.
According to police, two suspects had allegedly broken into a home when they were spotted by a neighbour and, panicking, locked themselves in the house.
Police arrived, and the suspects refused to surrender, holding out as long as they could – which turned out to be a few hours – before ultimately turning themselves over to police without incident. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
