One of the characteristics of drug arrests in Cambodia is that offenders seem rarely to be arrested alone, but tend instead to be apprehended in groups, as happened in Mondulkiri’s Koh Nhek district on Tuesday.

Four men were picked up by police on suspicion of using drugs and concealing a firearm. According to authorities, the suspects confessed to using drugs but have yet to own up to hiding a gun.

However, it was obviously hidden quite poorly, as police confiscated a gun, two bullets and a syringe during the arrests.
