Nothing softens scared burglar’s landing

A bungled burglary led one thief to fall right into the lion’s den in Phnom Penh’s Prampi Makara district on Saturday.

The man admitted to trying to rob a house before neighbours raised the alarm. He panicked and fell from the first floor onto the concrete below.

The neighbours swiftly detained the suspect, who was taken away by police before they could mete out their own form of justice.
