Police in Kampong Chhnang town said two Buddhist nuns living in a pagoda engaged in an altercation after one of them tried to order the other to cook food for some of the monks present.
The victim declined the request, saying that she was busy.
Apparently deeply unhappy with that response, she went straight for the other woman’s head.
Monks called police, and the suspect was arrested and sent for questioning.
The victim was sent to the hospital.
