Officer’s gun short-lived prize for Poipet thieves

Stealing a military police officer’s gun would probably be up there on a list of things not to do in Cambodia. Two men were arrested for doing that on Monday after they sneaked into the home of a military cop in Poipet.

They pretended to know the officer when approached on their way out by police, but the ruse was up when the gun was found and the military man himself arrived to denounce them. Deum Ampil
