Old-fashioned tracking leads to cows, rustlers

Sleuthing cops in Mondulkiri province’s Koh Nhek district literally tracked down a cattle rustler on Tuesday, by following hoof marks from the crime scene into a nearby forest.

After being called into action by a report from villagers of seven missing cows, the police found the beasts and two thieves apparently waiting for accomplices to pick them up.

One man managed to escape, while the other was captured and sent to court. KOH SANTEPHEAP
