Old mate doesn’t take kindly to debt reminder

Reminiscing about the good old days ended with battery and a trip to the clinic for one capital roadside mechanic on Monday.

The 50-year-old was chatting with an old acquaintance, and brought up the fact he had frequently lent his friend money while never seeing it returned.

His friend didn’t take kindly to this accusation, and responded by clobbering the mechanic with a wooden stick before escaping.
