The one that got away sparks man’s beatdown

A jealous neighbour sent a 25-year-old man to hospital with serious head wounds in Phnom Penh’s Meanchey district on Saturday.

The victim was arriving home and attempting to unlock his door when the two suspects approached him.

They beat him repeatedly over the head but scampered off when the nosey Nelly notified a neighbour.

Police arrived and were told that one attacker was another local who was miffed that the victim was in love with the same girl. They remain at large. DEUM AMPIL
