One necklace too many ends robbery spree

Greed got the best of one Banteay Meanchey robber, 32, after he attempted a spree of thefts in Poipet district on Saturday.

The risk-taking rouge nicked a motorbike parked outside the local market and used the bike to attempt a drive-by necklace grab.

But the intended victim pushed the thief off his ill-gotten ride and he lay there injured until the police arrived. He was sent to hospital before being charged. DEUM AMPIL
